It's pretty sad for the Mirai UK release especially when you compare to the French branch of AL who got a big chunk of those extras.

I'll just say : don't expect any releases for that serie from France, not now and not anytime soon.
I'ts not the kind of serie that does very well in term of audience + it's an Aniplex title, wich is most of the time a problem for the french market (exept big big big seller serie, like SAO, etc)
Jesus... just tell the encoder to keep the original and intended level color (Gamma/brightness) as the master.
No need to choose between others options, if the staff behind the serie wanted the image to look like what is on their master, why the hell would anyone want to change that just for...
No, I'm refering to others series like Amachu, the Geass movies, etc. all of them have wrong color level, and all of them have been authored by a UK authoring house.
Depend on who is doing the authoring.
The last UK authored discs have wrong Brightness/Gamma (color level).
The French authored disc don't have that problem but sometime have pretty low bitrate.
If it's Media OCD (like Origin I-IV) then it will be perfect.
It's not "really" a box, it's a very very very cheap piece of cardboard with 3 amarays, nothing else, don't exept a rigid box, it's like a Funi slipcover (even cheaper in fact) but with the opening on the side.
Remember that authoring does not mean encoding.
For Asterisk, MVM could have used the AoA encode on their discs, with if few minor differences in others domains, like audio/subtitle.
AoA does that often for their local releases, the video encode is the same as AoJ bit by bit but the audio is a...
Kiznaiver (UK)
While it's not as good as AoA discs, it has a little more banding, it's still a good PQ release for a French authored release, and the packaging was also very good.
All AoA releases exept very few titles, like Kiznaiver or Saekano are AoJ, they use the Japanese encode or disc.
Madoka Rebellion is the same, it's a clone, same video quality than the Japanese edition.
The only differences sometime are in the audio quality, sometime they have to delete one...
