    [Overseas] Anime News & Announcements

Sentai already let several mediocre series expire - espespecially, but not limited, to series without proper HD master or the lack of a dub. This affects a number of series that aired 2014 or earlier in Japan, as the typical contract covers 7 years. Titles currently reprinted include both newer...

    [Overseas] Anime News & Announcements

As several of the older titles are listed "no longer avaiable" on Rightstuf - or no longer listed at all at Rightstuf or Sentai Shop - one should expect that these will be gone soon.

    [Overseas] Anime News & Announcements

There is not a single new licence - only reprints of titles previously released and the new Shirobako dub. However what makes me wonder: Why do they ommit the OVAs? They are avaiable for Licensing (as included in the German BD)

What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

I know that the Blu-ray includes these - but the DVD too? (OVAs were missing several times on the DVD-copy of Funi releases)

What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Could you check, which episodes are included with the Mob Psycho 100 S2 DVD copy? Manga claimed "12 + OVA" which is weird, due to the Season having 13 eps + OVA. + afaik the OVA is missing on the Funimation DVD

"New English Dub" refers to the fact, that the first 2 DVD releases by Sentai only included Jap dub. All releases since 2015 (incl all MVM releases) include the same English Dub.

    French editions to be published

Note: the German Nipponart BD uses the same discs (9/4/9/4), but with simpler packaging without extra DVDs nor booklets / artbooks, but thus a way lower price. Both releases aren't english-friendly.

UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

Well: The German UHD won't be english friendly, so it least it cannot impact any US sales. Also I believe it is possible to lock subtitles on UHD, right?

The Q & A Thread (for questions that do not need a thread)

I assume there is no place holder, as the Funi release of S2 came with an artbox for both seasons.

@Afherlan : Solty Rei SDBD is a plain copy of the old German DVDs - including the PAL issues. I don't own SoulTaker but assume it was handled the same way (despite somehow missing the jap dub for one episodes). One should not expect, that German SDBD reach the same technical level as the ones...
