Enjoyed Time of the Doctor a lot. The only major complaint I have though is that the actual moment of the regeneration into Capaldi was extremely jarring, especially after that great moment with Amy.
Well I noticed numerous smaller cuts but the main one I noted was in Ricardio the Heart Guy. When Ricardio is threatening the princess he no longer says "I'm going to cut out her heart and make out with it". In the edit, Finn and Jake just run in and punch him.Numerous smaller cuts of more...
Buyer beware. The UK release not only does not have any of the bonus content on the US release but it is also heavily censored. Might explain the long delays and the fact it was rated 12 at one point and now PG. What a waste of time.
I'm not suggesting what you're saying isn't valid, because from a critical standpoint you're absolutely right. I'm only stating the reason I enjoyed it. I wanted it to be a big budget version of the old Godzilla, Rodan and Gamera films and it's exactly what I got. It recaptured that dumb thrill...
Pacific Rim is a tribute to the old Japanese monster movies which is something I grew up on. I loved it because it took me back to my childhood and I got to see giant robots punching the hell out of monsters in classic good vs evil style. Cliche? Yeah, but it was never trying to be too deep...
These guys always seem to create quality releases for me so I might check it out since I have a few memories of this show. Also noticed on their release list that they have another upcoming Lupin III release for Bye Bye Liberty Crisis. Will be picking that up for sure.
Re: Replication issue forces Anime Limited to delay Perfect

Just like to mention also that the Cowboy Bebop blu-ray releases surpassed my expectations in...
After experiencing the fluid, fast paced action of the game the animation and look of the trailer seems wooden in comparison. I understand that concessions would need to be made in an adaption but one of the most interesting aspects of the game was its visual style and it seems like this trailer...
Perfect Blue is a must buy for me since I only own it on VHS right now. Not really fussed about Blu ray usually but will probably go for this one. Just hoping the cover art is an improvement over the lackluster look of the DVD release.
When I first heard about the concept of the series I thought it'd be similar in tone to the wonderful Hirokazu Koreeda film, After Life. I guess that assumption was FAR off the mark.
Apologies, I thought you meant that it didn't look like Motoko because she wasn't semi-naked.
This.
I'm just glad that Paz looks less like Butthead in this version. Every time he turned up in Stand Alone Complex I couldn't unsee the connection.
