thanks Neil ill give it a watch.

I was hooked on 7 deadly sins and since the most recent arc has been released on netflix im yet to return to it.

Attack on titon was great, I watched season 1 on netflix then streamed s2 and s3 but I think it took a hiatus as I couldn't then find any dubbed versions for the last half of the season. May need to check if crunchyroll has it all.

Have heard some good things about SAO and tempted to give that a watch too.

Akame ga kill was also pretty good but again I think I dropped it halfway through lol.

Has anyone watched blue exorcist? I watched the first 2 or 3 episodes but it seemed boring, is it worth giving a second look?

I enjoyed it when I last watched it a few years ago. It's good solid shounen, I think.

Be warned about one thing, though: the anime diverges from the manga, and then season 2 of the anime (called "Kyoto Saga") adapts from the manga, ignoring certain developments from the anime.

That's what I hear, anyway; I haven't actually read the manga to be able to know first-hand.

Yes, I believe the first season goes into anime-only territory from episode 18 onwards. The Kyoto Saga arc occurs after the events in episode 17 of the anime if I’m remembering right.

When I watched the series I just stopped at episode 17 and switched over to Kyoto Saga and had a fun time overall.

Also, welcome back to the forums @Tachi!

The anime original ending of s1 of the anime is still fun. Especially if you're out of the loop and havent read the manga. But I am glad they just went back to the manga for s2 as the Kyoto Saga is really good.

Theres also an anime original film that follows the anime original continuity that's a fun watch.

Any recommendations for other shows that are worth a watch?
To add to what others have said One Punch Man (maybe its older than 4/5 years but should be watched just as much as Mob Psycho 100. Both great.

Also I love Overlord, School-Live and if you want something a bit silly and fun Zombie Land Saga.

Well my idea for a "frankenbuild" PC just got storage

Just waiting for an SSD to come tomorrow and might build another PC from old parts, the old storage is HDD. Question is who would want the frankenbuild?

I miss the old style Amazon email confirmations listing what is actually on that order rather than a link to the order on their website.

Probably more to do with my filling system where I've got a few pre-orders and having the items listed on the emails themselves was easier to archive the confirmation when everything has arrived.

First world problems

I went to see akira yesterday it was a bit to loud to the point of getting bouts of earache and film are already mixed loud so there should be no need for a film to be played back at a higher volume.

And you may find yourself living in an airbnb
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself taking an online TEFL course
And you may find yourself with a useless degree, in a world gone mad
And you may ask yourself "Well, how did I get here?"

I dunno how you ended up there, but all things considered it doesn't sound all that bad, perhaps even preferable...
Aye, 2020 hasn't exactly gone as planned, but then has it for anyone? Kind of a crappy year to graduate but being thrown into the world with no real plans or ties has its upsides. Not like I haven't been here before. I missed you guys but I had a lot of stuff to do, still do really, just wanted to check in so you know I haven't died of covid (which I did at one point think I had contracted, like a week before my uni deadlines and my accommodation moving out date, but it turned out I had suddenly developed lactose intolerance. What's a little more stress induced hair loss?)

Currently chilling in France and plotting to obtain European residency, I figure maybe I'll go to Sweden where everyone (and particularly the government) hasn't completely lost their minds. I did kinda want to go to Canada but their lockdown put paid to that. Hence the new globetrotting Kino avatar. Who knows where I'll end up? Hope everyone here is keeping their heads when all about are losing theirs, both literally and figuratively. Maybe I'll even find the time to watch some anime in the coming weeks.
