You'll be OK I think for a bit longer, but I don't think I'd extend the life of your current one too far, I'd recommend changing it in about a year or so maybe to avoid getting too far behind.

Thanks for the heads up dude, I had completely missed that memo but then last year has been mad so I'm scared what else I'm yet to catch up on🤦‍♂️. I think the next time my wife offers to buy me a phone I shall take her up on the offer!

It's great that the Amazon exclusive steelbook has the Irish rating on it despite the fact Amazon won't ship it here.
 
I received a partial shipment of my order from AlltheAnime's New Year's Sale yesterday. Due to the subtitle issue found with Episode 4 on the Kids on the Slope CE, they are evidently holding off shipping until they get sets with replacement discs in, hence why they did an international partial ship on this order. I received one Bluray Collector's Edition and the Kids on the Slope poster in this shipment. Not sure why they didn't also ship the Death Parade CE that was in my order as well, so I guess I'll have to wait on that one too.

Roboteck from HMV arrived. Havent used HMV in a while but there was no packing material at all. Just cardboard box and boxset. Happy it arrived safe but I think that was more luck than anything 😅
 
Two Gundam-related items arrived today.

1. The (up-to-date) set of Gundam Thunderbolt manga series. I started collecting the volumes when it came out but I regretted not getting all the volumes back then due to some volumes (such as vol.4) being OOP.
Fortunately, I managed to get a complete set (vol 1 to 18) for £120 incl. postage from Vinted.

2. Mobile Suit Gundam the Origin Limited Edition from Anime Limited.1000062341.jpg1000062342.jpg

Got this in the post from Gundam Mad. I haven't used them since the vat changes post pandemic and unfortunately they didn't remove the UK VAT for export or on the customs declaration. Ended up costing me an additional €13. Even with that I got it at a reasonable price considering how heavily this kit is being scalped atm.

How're you finding it?

Vivid mode seems broken, so I'm using Natural at the moment, I'm hoping they can add some updates/patches as some people said the camera wasn't great either. I think the hardware is good but needs updates to tweak things a little, which I'm sure will come.

Sound quality of the speakers seems a lot better, I don't use it loads, but sometimes use the phone to play music and it's a definite improvement.

Yeah I have the same issues with colour which was noticable immediately. Otherwise I'm liking it a lot. Just hope they can patch it especially since it has a QHD display.
