So a fun one today! All the way from Australia courtesy of Sanity.com.au - Naruto Shippuden Complete Movie Collection. It shipped on 29/2 and arrived today on 07/03, so bang on a week which is seems very good to me, I don't order internationally that often unless it's via Amazon.

What's interesting to me is that most of the discs are obviously Manga UK discs and are clearly labelled "Not for sale outside UK or Ireland", seeing as I got this set from an Aussie retailer and it's quite clearly an Australian release, this seems odd? I know Manga UK use the Madman discs for their Naruto movie releases so that probably has something to do with it, just funny seeing the not for sale spiel on these discs from Aus.

I'm not complaining either way though as it was much cheaper to get this set than the equivalent sets released here in the UK.

that's pretty quick! meanwhile I've been waiting for a parcel for 4 days that was shipped within the UK using Royal Mail Tracked 48

The box it came in was completely crushed, but fortunately the case itself was fully intact:

During the Alltheanime Christmas sale I ordered the majority of the Gundam series. Unfortunately this one was sold out, so I couldn't start watching the series from the beginning.

Picked these up in town today before I went to see Lonely Castle in the Mirror. The Bleach game was only £4.00 from CeX and the Kirby and Enmu were from HMV. Unfortunately it is impossible for Enmu to stay stood up outside of the box so in he stays.

I also have quite a few Kirby's now, not actively collecting them but I like getting the odd one when I see them about, they're cute.

Spy x Family LE arrived from AOL, didn't even get a shipping notification so was surprised though it does release Monday anyway.

Unlike Part 1 this does include a slipcover and has alternate artwork on the case similar to the U.S. release so if anyone here is buying only the standard releases you're going to have some inconsistency.

Spy x Family (Part 2) (Limited Edition) (BD / DVD)

My Gundam Mad order got sent to the wrong delivery depot and hasn't moved since
My Japan order sat in customs for 3 days
My Gundam Aerial order placed Monday shipped last night, so that might arrive at some point next week

So a 3/3 unlucky steak 😹 So yeh, I haven't built any models during my time off

2024 HAUL - MARCH CHAPTER: BATCH #3

Went into town yesterday and picked up a few things, but also received two more packages.

Went to town because I went to see Dune Part Two at the local Cineworld IMAX. But before I went to the screening I often take the trip to the city centre first because the traffic can often get in the way if you decide to just go straight. The past few months the hauls had been a bit dull but this time I was able to get something of interest in HMV, CeX and Travelling Man (not GAME this time as the prices weren't right).

4K Ultra HD Haul 1.jpg

Starting off with the HMV trip where I picked up two more 4K Ultra HD films available as part of their 2 for £30 deal. Those being Damien Chazelle's Babylon and Christophe Gans's Brotherhood of the Wolf (Le Pacte des loups).

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen 1.jpg

Next is CeX. When I last visited the store I remembered they had a copy of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and this time I went to pick it up, which was in pretty good condition and it's going up in demand due to the upcoming sequel. I have played the PS3 version that was available on PlayStation Plus a decade ago but I never managed to finish it.

Travelling Man March Haul 1.jpg

Travelling Man March Haul 3.jpg

Then came Travelling Man. I noticed they had a bit more stock than the usual so I decided to see what was available. I eventually decided on Shonen Jump batch and picked up 9 volumes from their 3 for 2 Viz Media deal.

The manga picked were Chainsaw Man volumes 12-14, Jujutsu Kaisen volumes 18-20, Komi Can't Communicate volumes 8-9 and Mashle: Magic & Muscles volume 14. These are all checked to ensure they were US prints before paying for then. I also wanted to make sure I didn't have a misalignment on the spine which is why I passed on Black Clover unfortunately.

Black Tight Killers 1.jpg
By a Man's Face Shall You Know Him 1.jpg
I, The Executioner 1.jpg
The Sting of Death 1.jpg

After arriving home came the packages from the post. Starting with the Radiance Films haul that I made to get the recent Japanese films that came out in January and February's line-up.

We have Yasuharu Hasebe's 1966 film Black Tight Killers (俺にさわると危ないぜ), Tai Kato's 1966 film By a Man's Face Shall You Know Him (男の顔は履歴書), Tai Kato's 1968 film I, The Executioner (みな殺しの霊歌), and Kōhei Oguri's 1990 film The Sting of Death (死の棘).

From what I saw on the latest Radiance Films newsletter, the Bounty Hunter Trilogy box set is half sold already so I'll be making sure I have that sorted this month.

Granblue Fantasy & Unicorn Overlord 1.jpg

Also arrived yesterday are two brand newly released Japanese RPGs from the past month. First we have Granblue Fantasy: Relink, which has been on my list to get for years and they finally released it which apparently has pretty solid reviews which is nice to hear given the very long development.

Then we have Unicorn Overlord, the latest game developed by Vanillaware (13 Sentinels, Dragon's Crown, Odin Sphere) and because its with Atlus I decided to pick it up sooner. This is a real-time strategy game if I remember right but regardless I dig the style and look forward to playing it.

Hopefully we get more of Vanillaware's games on the modern platforms since we're still missing a few of them (Grand Knights History, Muramasa and Princess Crown which did get re-released but only in Japan).

Stackry Test completed for Layzner and Nanoha.
Overall a decent, but effective service although I wish Crunchyroll US didn't botch the package as my Layzer BD case was severely damaged, although I immediately replaced the case (Lucky the discs and cover were still in perfect condition).

I will be using Stackry in the future exclusively for Discotek Media titles
I thank @NormanicGrav and many others from the forums and discord server for the helpful Stackry guide.

Also, a lucky panic buy Strike The Blood Blu-Ray from eBay.
Hopefully I can potentially randomly find more OOP Discotek Media stuff in the near future without breaking the bank.
