This sounds great, definitely going on the to-buy list. Although a shame it seems to be another like My Happy Marriage and Akira Takatsuki that has no illustrations inside. I wonder if that's a byproduct of being rereleased under a new label or not or if it simply never had any like those two. 🤔

Good on the author for doing rewrites too, usually when stuff is republished it's left more or less the same as it was. I imagine the situation was somewhat different here given the amount of time that passed, but even so. Sounds like it has improved upon the original substantially. :)
 
I'm sure you won't regret picking this one up; it's a great start to an intriguing series! :) The author's afterword is fascinating too (apparently the original version is still available in digital in Japanese). And yes, a shame that there are no internal illustrations, especially given how fine the cover art is. But the quality of the writing is so good that you really don't notice the absence of illustrations (and it's not often I can say that with light novels.)
