    Yay Japanese cookies.

"Hato sabure"- pidgeon shaped buiscuits. They're too "eggy" for me. Japanese sweets and stuff are crap compared to the stuff in the UK. Aero's here taste sh!te, and Pocky is... well... just crap. Why they're so popular overseas is a mystery. You can have ALL the Japanese sweets if you just...

I can be quite expensive but wages paid even it up. I work about 265 days a month and get about 1500 quid for it. I regards to transport, travelling inside Tokyo is a LOT cheaper than it is travelling in London. Restaurants are not all that expensive either, you can get a decent 3-course meal...

For cheap flights to Japan, I'd recomend here: http://www.gendai.co.uk/en/ Depending on the time of year you can get flights for about 350 pounds. As for hotels, if you want cheap the one I work at is out of the question  You might be better renting an appartment for 2 weeks or...

Don't really hear an awful lot about it except when there's a new game out. "Dragon Quest" is a LOT more popular.

Both the sound "L" and the letter "L" don't exist in Japanese. Well, some people say words like "ramen" or "raiyu" with the R sounding like an L.

Nice work :) but, you've got the name wrong. "Aoi Kageo" would be 青井かげお or 蒼井かげお You've got it as 青かげみ "Ao Kagemi" Kageo is a male name, Kagemi is female.

The closest thing to "d'ya" would probably using "kai" at the end. e.g. "D'ya know what that means?" "あれ、知ってるかい?" There does seem to be a misconception that Japanese people always mix up R's and L's, but it's nothing like that. There is no L in Japanese, the nearest thing to it in English...

Uni Don't really know much about it but you'd probably have to do it through a uni over in the UK- getting them to sort it out would be a lot easier and I'm not sure that you can make direct applications. These might be of use to you. http://www.uk.emb-japan.go.jp/en/study/mext_postgrad.html...

Never been stopped for my ID. Never been treated in a way that was "racist" So, it's not "normal in Japan" England is a lot more racist then here. Just who have you been talking to?? They must be really unlucky, really stupid, or liars. Yeah, Japan isn't a great place to live, but it's...

No, I didn't even use a computer at that time. I didn't say that I learnt by just listening, it's about talking to people. Takes a while at the start but after that it's easy. No books, no schools, no sites, which gave me a "native" accent, rather than that f***ing irritating gaijin accent...

I think that everybody seems to be missing the point that she was so bloody stupid enough to go into his appartment with him. How can anyone by so naive!?! Just looking at the bloke you can tell he's nothing but a chinpila or some other twat. You can say so much about how every society has...

I learnt to read any write by mailing my wife/friends and watching TV a lot. Once you get going it isn't hard. As, for jobs, you'd have to get a qualification in what is needed ,when an earthquake hits. Without one I doubt you'd have a chance. A lot of people from the States, especially the...
