Action-packed stills of Blood: The Last Vampire live action

Twitch <a href="http://twitchfilm.net/site/entry-images/category/C87/">have posted a number</a> of revealing, action-packed images snapped from the set of the upcoming Blood: The Last Vampire film, a live action adaptation of the popular horror anime from 2000. It's expected to be released during the summer of 2008 and will be directed by Chris Nahon, who, <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0619599/">according to IMDB</a>, is a noted "French commercial and music video director".

This is the first I have heard about a live action movie for it. Looks intresting to say the least. I do wonder what the story will be like though, will it be faithful to the film or maybe borrow elements of the series a little?

Meh... The film was pretty awful in truth. It wasn't worth watching in animated form, nor will it be in live-action form.

The anime series Blood+ (it came out after the movie) is much, much better. It's a shame the news wasn't about the TV series getting licensed by ADV/MVM.
