According to <a href="http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/11182.html">ICv2</a>, <a href="http://www.advfilms.com">ADV Films (US)</a> will soon control (starting on October 1st) the sales, marketing and distribution of <a href="http://www.geneonanimation.com">Geneon Entertainment's (US)</a> anime releases. Despite axing these departments (and cutting dozens of jobs in the process), Geneon will still license and produce anime is the US, essentially acting a "label" rather than a fully fledged anime distributor.
It remains to be seen how this reorganisation will effect Geneon's releases (mostly via <a href="http://www.mvm-films.com">MVM</a>) in the UK.
