Anime Limited & MVM's 12 Days of Christmas 2020: 1st-12th Dec | 9:30am MVM, 5:00pm AL

wish AL would've sold the Kill La Kill box separate for those of us who already bought it separately in the last couple years, CEX trade in has pretty much hit rockbottom so i'd only get £10.20 towards it and i don't really want to bother with ebay

What titles are folks hoping to see from the upcoming MVM Christmas sale? Looking forward to any new announcements if they come along as well.

In terms of new titles, Rascal Dreaming Girl would be one that I would love to see appear the most, but I don't think MVM will be able to get their hands on it for a while since they had trouble trying to make progress with Aniplex because of the COVID situation.

As for older/current releases, I liked their bundle offer two years ago for Asterisk War so if they can do something similar with Eromanga Sensei and Granblue Fantasy that would be neat. I remembered that the prices last year were actually higher than the sale before that so we'll see how it goes.

MVM are very hit or miss with me in what they license but I am always excited to see what they announce regardless. I know it's way too soon but am most anticipating their release for Made in Abyss the movie (if they go for it).

Hard to think of something of that isn't a Aniplex title (some are also too early anyway). Still, Demon Girl Next Door is a Nice addition during the sale so thats great!

With Sentai's new partnership I wonder if a Crunchyroll series will show up. Really hoping for Granbelm
It's possible, but I noticed the Crunchyroll titles don't have their own press release announcements so we don't know if Sentai has UK/IE home video rights for them or not. The fact that Anime Ltd managed to get Bookworm gives me an assumption the CR titles Sentai is distributing are just US/CA for home video. That being said, the Amazon titles they have (Blade of the Immortal, Killing Bites) will likely make an appearance in the UK.

thinking about ordering the following titles listed and maybe other things

free international shipping if i go over 100 pounds @Jeremy Graves @anime_andrew @Hanners im not going to be able to order all that am i ? like its set to different days

It's random also I believe, so we don't know which days they'll turn up.

i mean it wont all be on the same day and they will sell out or not be able to order them all at once ? so say i order 2 of those titles but next day the next two are up and then i have alot of pounds in postage to pay ?

I don't think most of the early birds will sell out. The big candidates from my perspective are Cyber City Oedo 808, Millennium Actress and Planetes mainly because the UK is the first for Blu-ray (or in MA's case, 4K Ultra HD).

As far as I understand the early birds will be one a day from day 2 onwards. The mystery box is day 1.

Everything else will be at its sale price from day 1 through to the end.

(While stocks last)

Oh so it's a 24 hour limit for each early bird? Hmm.. that makes it interesting.
