Anime Limited Offers Ultimate Edition Blu-ray for Mobile Suit Gundam SEED

I'm on the fence for this one. I understand it's something like 50 episodes, so it's more than a lot of animes have in their series, but what about Destiny? Wouldn't it make sense to have them combined, get the whole 'SEED' experience? I hesitate because I wonder if they'll have a true 'ultimate' set that combines both and if I jump on this now then I'm wasting down the road when they do that. What are your thoughts, having been watching the industry for so long?
