I agree; the lack of a subbed version for UK audiences is very disappointing.

Can only echo the above two posts really. As much as I want to support Fruits Basket on the big screen (and it would no doubt look great!), I've had no experience with the dub vs the JP cast and have zero interest in making that leap now.

I watched the original series dubbed and I believe the same VA reprised her role as Tohru in the new series, but I watched all that subbed so it would be a little odd.
This is a prequel, but I think we got enough of everyone's back story, spoilers nearly everyone of the Somas had **** parents!, so seems a little pointless.

Tickets are up on Odeon, obviously for the 1 version of the film as mentioned here, but if you want to grab a ticket (like I did) now you can.

Thankyou, I am happy enough to watch this dubbed based on the trailer so I have purchased a ticket for the Wednesday July 20th 2022 showing at 7:50pm/19:50
