Ahhhh it was brilliant seeing it on the big screen, so many little things I missed when watching the DVD version. I thought the subtitles being all white would be a problem but it turned out not to be.

Haha, I didn't tell my friend Chris who drove us that it wasn't dubbed until we paid for tickets. "GAH! if I want to read I'll go to the library!" Still we all really enjoyed it even though I seemed to be the only one that understood it. :p

I saw Ghost in the Shell 2 yesterday and I thought it was brilliant, to be honest I went to it thinking that I wouldn't like it because I read a lot of reviews that said it wasn’t good. I can understand why people wouldn’t like it, it’s not a case of “if you liked the first movie you’ll like this”, the second movie is a completely different beast to the first . The thing about GITS 2 is that if you don’t have an appreciation for philosophy and connotation you’re not going to like it at all. But even if the plot is a bit heavy for you it’s still worth seeing in the cinema for the great soundtrack and the unbelievable animation. You may not hear many people say this but I thought it was better then the first.
