Live Action Basilisk adaptation?

Judging from its official Japanese site, the movie "Shinobi: Heart Under Blade" is either based on the Basilisk anime or manga, or the actual novel the anime and manga are themselves based on. Fansites have referred to the movie as a live-action version of Basilisk.
