Instead of harping on about the anime, which Paranoia Agent's recommendation has got me addicted too, I'll just tell everyone to watch it. It may have minimalistic, cheap animation, but the plot and characters are just so original and interesting.

I really enjoyed the first few episodes but soon after the animation spiraled downhill and the story dropped off a bit too.

I was impressed enough to have another look once the DVDs start appearing though. I loved how it was all so sleezy and violent, even if the "people will do anything for money/power" point was overplayed.
