--THE ANIME UK NEWS CHARACTER BATTLE 2009!--
INTRODUCTION
Guess who’s back, back again, yes the grand tournament originating from 2005 is back again, and this time, it’s personal....... ok it always was but whatever.
First off, the battles.
This year, due to its lateness we will be focusing on Quality instead of quantity, meaning less fights, but more popular character will be involved instead.
Also back from their hiatus the former champs are back!!, and they want their titles back
We’ll also have random tag and group battles
So let’s start off with the Rules, First off, the main title of the contest
THE MAIN BATTLE
This year’s sign ups are through the roofs, everyone wants to prove themselves, so we had to limit it to 28 pre chosen combatants, however that would just get boring seeing the same people over and over, so we’ll still have a preliminary election for you to chose who you want to enter and hopefully win.
You may choose a maximum of 5 girls and 5 boys, the feel free to choose your own, but if you see a character you like, vote for them, the more votes a character gets, the more chance they can qualify without having to go through the dreaded battle royal.
The only rule is that you may not use more than 1 character of the same sex from each show (so no choosing Asuka and Rei from Evangelion sorry but Rei and Shinji is fine) After 5 days the polls will close and the list will be completed
Once we have the list, we have 20 slots for both sexes to fill; if we can’t fill them all from the suggestions then a Battle Royal will take place to fill the remaining spots. Once we have our 48 fighters, the first round will be a 1v1v1’s battle followed by a 1 v 1 round till we get to the quarter finals and our traditional 1 v 1 in a 8 > 4 > the final 2 fashion
Each battle will go on for 3 days, with 1 male and 1 female battle going on at the same time, each round starting and ending at 10pm
Rules:
for a vote to count you must vote and post who you voted for in the relevent topic
No more than 1 vote per battle, if you change your mind, post an edit in your original thread and that you changed your vote
no multiple account, people found cheating will be subject to disciplinary action
