A new CG Resident Evil movie has been announced, titled Death Island. It's going to feature Leon, Chris and Jill and will be the first time Leon and Jill have met which is fun. The island and prison reminds me of Revelations 2 but RE has had a number of island settings at this point.

Artist behind Space Battleship Yamato, Galaxy Express 999 suffered from heart failure
Sad news. There are only a handful of manga authors whose work are as instantly recognisable worldwide as Matsumoto's.
Leiji Matsumoto is definitely one of those "his influence in the industry cannot be overstated" kind of people. Absolute legend.
