Charming, delightful, funny and all round good easy watch. The characters were great and it was fun to watch the shenanigans they got up to.

Really funny and silly show. Was a lot of fun to watch. Laughed a lot.

11 Eyes
Dark fantasy (very early on I could tell it was based on a V/N and after checking I was right) it was alright with some surprising twists along the way but at the same time is nothing special.

My Ex 2
Another live action horror from MVM. At first seems like its gona be the same as the first vine with a different cast but then mixes things up for the finale.

City Hunter ep13 (rewatch)

A bit problematic by today‘s standards this one, but I like that the background characters’ t-shirts name drop both ReAnimator and C.H.U.D.

Laid Back Camp S2 ep7

I think this has been my favourite episode of the second series so far, it seemed to get the formula just right.

Alice in Borderland live-action (complete)

A decent enough survival game type story with some nice special effects work (the eerie sight of deserted downtown Tokyo is a real highlight), but none of the characters were ever developed enough for me to feel particularly invested in them, and it seems increasingly to lean into deus ex machina during the second half.

Momotaro Sacred Sailors (Japanese) Film

Dai has already discussed this movie over in this thread and has said about everything I could say about it. Really I have to thank him for this review as the impetus for me watching it tonight. Someone also mentioned that due to the nature of film it’s the only entry on their MyAnimeList they haven’t scored, which... yeah... I’ve done that too. Which also goes for

Spider and Tulip (Japanese) Film

This one is in a similar vein to Momotaro, an interesting piece in anime’s history but deeply problematic today.

The Momotaro set is a uniquely interesting but odd entry in my collection and other than reading the accompanying book at some point, it’ll likely never be taken off the shelf again.
 
The Case of Hana & Alice (Japanese) Film

Well, I wasn’t expecting to watching anything else tonight but put this on on a whim and you know, I really enjoyed it. Being entirely rotoscoped it’s structured and executed more like a live action as a movie which was quite refreshing. The style can lead to a handful of scenes having an odd perception of depth or just looking flat but overall it’s a very well crafted movie, I am curious if there was a reason this was chosen over doing either live action or traditional animation (which, okay, rotoscoping technically is still traditional but just for differentiation). Very interested to watch the original Hana & Alice movie now, which this acts a prequel too, from a cursory glance online it’s become a bit hard to find tho.
 
Bodacious Space Pirates 7- 13. While it had a slow start this show has found it's grove and I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

Code Geass Movie 1 Better than I expected for a recap film.

The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episodes 27-39 (Complete. Another solid arc to continue the series. I’ll watch whatever comes next for the series when it releases.) 3.5/5

The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behaviour episodes 1-12 & OVA (complete. The eccentric tenants of the Kawai Complex made this a humorous and fun little series though some characters quirks were a bit ott at times.) 3.5/5

B-movie horror type anime and a lot of fun. The dub is a work of brilliance! OTT and vulgar! Wrote a longer piece on my thoughts in the rate anime thread.

Human Lost
Absolutely stunning film. Cyberpunk with monsters. A great watch.

Sinking of Japan
Great film with some great performances. I really appreciated that it focused more on characters and their struggle in an insane situation and left the plot of what to do about it mostly in the background until near the end. It made it very engrossing and characters felt more real because of it. The scene of the Prime Minister talking about his granddaughter being a stand out moment in the film for me.
