UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

"Soon" in Anime Limited time is equal to 1+ year in our time.

But seriously, this is good news!
Great news!
Hopefully we'll get sets 3-6, Final Act sets 1 & 2, and the 4 movies before the heat death of the universe 😂

But also seriously, this IS good news.
Fingers crossed they come out swinging with an actual road map for the rest of the series because alot of people are going to be looking at this as an indication of how they'll treat (or mistreat) Naruto & Bleach.

I see the standard edition of the movie Blue Thermal is on offer this week for a £10, is it worth a punt at that sort of price or is it a movie worth avoiding due to being a bit pants?

Also it seems that there will be no more posts to the blog, or at least Jonathan Clements will no longer be editing it.

I didn't even realise there was a blog. I'm surprised they don't mention it more on the mailing list. I'll read anything that Jonathan Clements is involved with, so it looks like this weekend will be spent going through the archives. Looking forward to it, though a shame if it's come to an end just as I discovered it (haha story of my life!)

A Place Further Than the Universe is showing as sold out on AL's web store. I'm hoping this is more a temporary "out of stock" thing as there's currently no word of a standard edition and - for whatever reason that nobody seems bothered about - you can't get new AL CEs anywhere but from AL directly.

Probably sold out cos popular

I hope not, I still wanted to buy it sometimes but without IOSS and expensive shipping, I had hoped I could get it somewhere else or when there was a sale to combine on things for shipping....

Based on stock info before release, this is almost certainly not the case (it has sold well, but not remotely close to their set amount). What is more likely is something more to do with current availability of stock (or maybe just tracking) for the time being.

Am waiting myself (I believe there are others too) on the item for now, hasn't been picked up by the courier yet however (evidently been in peoples hands across the country already for the past 2 days). I'd hope at least the stock issue isn't related and is something else holding it up.

I'm still waiting on my copy as well. Hopefully it arrives by Friday, as I planned to watch it over the bank holiday weekend.

Inuyasha Season 2 is available, £39.99 early bird

The standard edition is also around straight away

the season set covers episodes 28-52, this is notably different than Viz where the second set covered episodes 28-55

Any idea why the standard edition of Inuyasha is priced up compared to other 24-episode SEs, like Shirobako for example?

Is it just because it's Inuyasha?

its £44.99 srp for the standard, same as those. Those sets you mention are on the "deal of the week" where its a bit cheaper.
