4Kids edit grabs fans attention

It is rather old news, but ANN has pointed out that 4Kids changed the skin colour of a pirate in their edited version of One Piece from black to a tan mulatto/white colour. Comparison pictures can be seen here.

That seems like strange thing to do, but like some people on other forums have siad either leaving it how it was or changing colour, like they did, the results could both have been seen as racist.

Thats true, but i think he just looks altogether weird with the white skin

that was the same with shaman king in one episode they painted over a bus driver's lips because they were really big and seem racist because the driver was black with dreadlocks
