All-purpose comedy thread

I know from reading some posts on the forums that some users are interested in comedy. So, in my capcity as the data specialist (i.e. admin) for the British Comedy Guide, the TV and radio critic for northen comedy site Giggle Beats and an aspiring comedy writer (I've had some stuff on radio - here is some material I wrote for the Radio 7/ Radio 4 Extra satirical comedy Newsjack) I thought it would be nice to start a comedy thread.

This can be about any kind of comedy, from anywhere, including comedy anime and manga.

Last night I went down to York with my brother to see Justin Moorhouse (most famous for being in Phoenix Nights). He was performing in a venue for about 1,000 people plus, and he and his warm-up Danny McLoughlin performed to about 100. Sad to see such a low turn out to what turned out to be a good gig I thought.

Yeah it was a bit hard, but the bit about "quinting" was hilarious, though.
