Following from their news earlier this week that they will be simulcasting Wit Studios' upcoming adaptation of Seraph of the End, Anime Limited announced at their Birmingham MCM Comic Con panel this weekend that they will also be simulcasting Liden Films' and Sanzigen's television anime adaptation of The Heroic Legend of Arslan.

Helmed by Bleach director Noriyuki Abe, this will be the third anime adaptation of Yoshiki Tanaka's fantasy novel series about Arslan, the crown prince of Pars who along with a few loyal companions, has to assemble an army in an attempt to liberate his kingdom from the ruling nation of Lusitana, who took possession of Pars after its King Andragoras fell victim to a treacherous plot.

Previously, the novels were adapted into two anime movies and an unfinished OVA series. This new television anime is scheduled to begin airing on 5th April 2015. Anime Limited will be revealing where viewers will be able to watch The Heroic Legend of Arslan and Seraph of the End next week.

Additionally, the distributor also confirmed their upcoming The Vision of Escaflowne will include the Director's Cut of the television anime, which will only be available with Japanese audio and English-subtitles.

Probably said this before, but I would be a lot more interested if the art for the new series actually looked like that novel cover. It's not offensive or anything, I just think the new version looks incredibly generic.
