With a new month (and new season) upon us, there’s plenty of fresh anime to look forward to, so don’t forget to check up on what’s due for release and vote on your favourites on the October version of our monthly "Most anticipated UK release?" poll. Or, if you want a rundown of what’s due to start in Japan, look no further than "Anime Season Autumn 2005".
Elsewhere, voting for "Anime UK News’ Top 10 animes" has come to a close, with a promise of results to follow shortly. If you missed your chance to vote on that, there’s still a chance to express your opinion in the "Anime UK News Character Battle 2005" as "Motoko vs. Kino" and "Spike vs. Shinji" battle it out in the first matches of the second round (the ‘battles’ will end on Tuesday, so check back then for results).
The recent cinema release of Howl’s Moving Castle delighted many anime fans, but to find out how it fared with the film critics, be sure to check "Media Reception to Howl’s Moving Castle". Or, for a change from arguing over favourites, take a look at "Could you bear to part with any of the titles in your collection?" to comment on your least favourite DVDs and whether you could actually get rid of them.
