A while ago, I had predicted that the events of next years Avengers: Age of Ultron would be the perfect place for Marvel to launch 2006's "Civil War" storyline into the Cinematic Universe and now, it appears that it might actually be happening.
Variety is reporting that Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark) has silenced concerns of his contract expiring after next year's Avengers: Age of Ultron and its currently announced sequel, as he has now is now in final negotiations to reprise his role as Iron Man in the currently untitled third Captain America feature film, which is set to be released on 6th May 2016, with Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) attached as directors.
This follows news from yesterday that Marvel will be reboot the Civil War comic book series next year.
