It appears that Studio Ghibli's newest movie Tales from Earthsea (directed by Hayao Miyazaki's son, Goro Miyazaki) will be getting full theatrical treatment in the UK; <a href="http://www.optimumreleasing.com/theatricals.php">according to Optimum Releasing</a>, the movie will begin its (limited) UK cinema run on 3rd August.
Somewhat surprisingly, the movie has been dubbed into English too; <a href="http://www.bbfc.co.uk/website/Classified.nsf/c2fb077ba3f9b33980256b4f002da32c/e316a30efc42c00a8025730e0033871d?OpenDocument">the BBFC note</a> (having rated the movie as a PG) that the high profile voice cast includes the likes of Timothy Dalton, Mariska Hargitay and Willem Dafoe. Given the US release of 'Earthsea has been stuck in legal-hell, it was not expected that an English dub would be produced for the movie's releases outside of the US.
