Something to commemorate the announcement of season 2.

Think I'll need to do some more research into playing card design though, I'd like the finished one to look more ornate.

I hadn't originally planned on doing any more cards, but I've had a couple of people ask me when the rest of the deck'll be done, and it does seem like an interesting project...

Working out how to join the design in the centre was quite satisfying, so I'll certainly see if I can do some more face cards at the very least.
 
Thank you :) I have a couple of other things that'll need finished first (to say nothing of actual work...), but hopefully I'll get back to the cards after that.

In a kind of a way, what I'm doing right now might actually serve as practice for doing more character cards too, so it's all good.

Wow, thats incredible! It amazes me that you can actually create work as good as that simply using a computer.

I used to be very skeptical of drawing digitally, but I have a wacom tablet now and I absolutely swear by it. I should have another drawing video coming up soon, but a friend offered to contribute some music for it and I'm waiting on him being ready before I put it up.
 
Page 2. Much happier with this than the first page. Don't tell anyone, but there's an embarrassing continuity error between this page and the last one that I'll need to go back and fix.

Maybe he's just really good at putting items of clothing on quickly in unusual situations. :lol:

Sorted it now though, also tweaked the size of the text (needed to be less huge) and the contrast on the tone sheet.

Yeah, this is the throwback to 1960s psychedelic spy-fiction that I've been threatening to do for a long time now. I'll need to get the prologue part out of the way first, but hopefully I should get into the main story soon (touch wood).
 
Oooh! Good luck with it. I'm a bit of a (pretend) amateur writer myself. Getting past the first chapter always kills me, hence I have a billion unfinished works and none worthy of ever showing anybody. Look forward to seeing more of the comic.
