Tonight was waterstones in harrogates anime/manga/gaming event, and my first anime related event. I was actaully dreading it as i feel quite awkward in some social situations :S.
I went as amane misa for the cosplay competition and there were alot of cosplayers, i didnt win but this really great gaara cosplayer won (She had made his sake thing out of paper machee !).
There was a mixed bunch of people but there was a really great atmosphere, i bought a death note manga and was given some free promotional stuff. It was really great!
p.s sorry i didnt mention the event on the forum i will make sure i do in future
