My first exposure to anime was the first 20 minutes of Akira on Sci-Fi, I was blown away by how it looked and sounded...then my parents came in and switched over to something boring . Like a lot of people I got hooked in by toonami on cartoon network, but my real first anime love was Sailormoon.

I’ve kinda drifted in and out of fandom for about 10-12 years now, I go through a phase where I go crazy for anime, and then I seem to run out of shows that interest me and go away for a while.

I’m currently watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and Kaleido Star. My all time fav shows are Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Cowboy Bebop and Utena.
 
Welcome to the forums. I see you've made some good anime choices.

I also spotted elsewhere on the forum that you planning to attend Nemacon. With any luck I'll see you there.

I wasn't sold on the first few episodes of FMA, but once I got into the 2nd
volume I realised what the fuss was about. Now Im making my way the 3rd and am starting to get worried that I will soon catch up and have to wait between volumes to see what happens. I don't know how I will stand it. :D
