How do you Otaku-lise your room?

I used to stack what shelfs I had with my dvds but then my son was born and took over the room.

So now, they're just in boxes underneath the bed. As for my manga, I store them in comic boxes.

Well, everyone may have seen my Figures collection in:
http://forums.animeuknews.net/viewtopic ... &&start=15

Otherwise, I've not got as many posters covering the walls as Clouded has. I have a few posters of oriental themes (5 elements, dragon luck charm, landscape and snake) and some pics of women with tatoos/swords etc. That's the michellanious stuff...

My anime items posted up are:
3 anime cells (Jiraiya/Naruto, Pappara Army and UFO Baby - all framed), "How Manga took over the World" exhib poster (Urbis centre), 2 A2 sized pieces of my own work (Ikki Tousen fanart + themed comic) and 2 large Capcom posters (Morrigan/Lillith from Darkstalkers, Chun Li from Street Fighter).

Also, I have one small set of shelfs full of DVDs and one large bookshelf full of manga and "How to"/reference books.

Finally, I have a Haruhi Suzumiya pillowcase (PJ edition) from the LE boxsets and a whole box full of .hack//Enemy card sets.

I hope to get some new photos of my room on the weekend after I've freed up a bit more shelf space, will be sure to post them here once I'm done.

Pretty monstrous collection you've got there, Aya-Kun - do you actually have duplicates of the DVD boxes on the top shelf, or were you just moving things around to take the pictures?

my room's looking a little sorry right now , all my anime and manga are in a big box due to my room being re-arranged , planning to have it re-painted and have loads of shelving put in so my collection has a pernant home lol

sadly i only have one wallscroll up which is Shana and i have another shana and a vocaloid rolled up in a tube ready once i've sorted everything else , and two little busters posters

hehe thankies, no i don't have duplicates, there is nothing currently behind those boxsets on the top shelf so i just left them there are i was taking picutres and moving stuff around, re-arranged every thing since that picture its now in alpha order including boxsets but the ones on the top shelf seem to big for the some of the other shelfs lol -custom added in shelves on the back case-

Ah, OK, cool.

I wonder if (and this is what made me think you might have duplicates) anyone remembers a guy called Fabio who used to post on AoD? He would order R2 artboxes in triplicate so he could have all the artwork on display. ^^;

With an aim to Otaku-lise my room more :p I was wondering what sites people are using to get their wall scrolls and figures.

Has anyone used these sites?
http://www.playnippon.com/
http://www.anime-on-line.com/
http://www.ekmsecure4.co.uk/ekmps/shops ... /index.asp
I've never used the other two but Anime-On-Line are great, I just wish they were able to offer better prices on new DVD releases. They're (anime distributor) MVM's official store so you shouldn't have any problems there.
