I've only watched the first two episodes so far, but I really liked them.
I thought I'd really miss Ash, but it's nice having a break from him (we all know he'll be back someday). After being cool in XYZ and funny in Sun & Moon, he was just...nothing in Journeys (not helped by Goh not being very interesting either).
Liko is a likeable (Likoable?) character and the Rising Volt Tacklers are a nice group of characters too.
