Trailer for Persona 4 the Animation

A new trailer for Persona 4 the Animation has begun streaming and features a few lines from each character and Shoji Meguro’s background music.

The anime adaptation of the game has been overseen by Aniplex and uses the same characters and setting as the Persona 4 game where a group of friends in the rural town of Inaba investigate a series of mysterious murders which occur during bouts of fog after heavy rain and seem to be linked to a mysterious channel named Mayonaka TV appears  on television at  midnight  where a person can see his/her “other half” watching the channel.

The animation sees the return of Persona 4 veterans, Shoki Meguro who is covering the music and Shigenori Soejima, the original art director. Persona 4 The Animation will begin airing on the 6th of October in Japan on MBS.

The game was great, so this anime should be similiarly fantastic. I hope they use the same voice actors for the dub as they used in the game.

Dood beind this did Seto No Hanayome (The epic tale of one boy, who was able to suplex sharks, becoming the successor to Hotonoko Shinken) and Angel Beats (a suprisingly good series that was far too short)

Hmm, it looks ok I guess. But the real joy of P4 was building up all your social links yourself, discovering a fox god at a temple and seeing if you could play(as in play on playa not literally play) all the females in your team with out any consequence. I don't think watching it will be half as satisfying, it also looks almost as if they've just taken some scenes straight from the games cut scenes. Still this does have potential.
