During the early PS3 days SEGA brought out a title called Valkyria Chronices which gathered a cult classic status among the fanbase for its story, gameplay and colourful graphics. The series later gained sequels on the PlayStation Portable but only the second game made it to the west.
Today (17th November), Famitsu have announced that SEGA will be releasing the fourth instalment to the franchise known as Valkyria: Azure Revolution. Details are not yet known however SEGA have also announced that the first game in the series will be remastered for PlayStation 4 this February in Japan.
The game will sell for 4,990 Yen and it will have high-resolution graphics, as well as downloadable content and trophies. A demo for Valkyria: Azure Revolution will be included with the release, and Sega will be taking feedback from users who play the demo.
