Was just wondering if anyone on AUKN plays violin, 'cause i'm seriously thinking of picking one up and giving it a shot. I've been toying with the idea for years since hearing such beautiful parts in odd songs (alice nine. - Kousai), but never had the volume of music to play to that would make learning it worthwhile. However, lately i've been listening to a few more VKei bands, and heard a lot more violins. Gackt also have a permanent member of his band on violin- so now I have no such shortage of music-!
Was just wondering what it was like to learn? I play guitar and drums already (and did play the Saxophone for a period) and was wondering how it compares to the guitar in terms of playing? I'm sure they're hugely different, though.
My main issue is restringing the thing- I hate restringing my guitar, and that's easy. A violin looks like it could be a little more troublesome.
