Oh believe me I've dealt with ParcelForce in the past and got hit £80, though they delivered the package to me once I paid the fee.

Parcelforce fee was only £11 for me, and they left it at a local post office for me when I missed the delivery.

What... last time I had a parcelforce fee I had to get driven about 40 minutes away... when my local depo is only 9 minutes by car

Parcelforce always leave packages at a local post office that's a 2 minute drive away for convenience.

mine usually tell me i have to go to their depot or await delivery the next day though think may for this order just head over there anyway

The value declared on the customs form is lacking AUS tax so it might be lower than you originally thought.

Which explains the lower charge. Deduct the shipping from my order and fees clock in at £20.77 which is 11p more than the actual fee.
Mystery solved: packages are NOT being undervalued, there's just no shipping values on the documentation for RM to levy fees on.

So I emailed Madman as my second order showed as despatched on their website but I'd received nothing from Australia Post. Their response came back with my tracking number- guess what's awaiting Customs Clearance in Coventry?
Sucks that both orders got caught but now I've got to fork over Parcelforce's fees too.

Parcelforce packages start off as LH tracking number as well, Parcelforce just issue a new UK tracking number to the packages when they clear customs.

The ET******** was the Australia Post tracking number. The Parcelforce one hasn't been generated yet.
