To Loveru Darkness season 2 episodes 10-14: Finally I have finished. 64 episodes across nine Blu Ray discs and more boobs, bums and panty shots than a person could count. By the end I was angrily muttering under my breath about the predictability, Yuuki's panic attacks every time he sees a naked woman (approximately once every two minutes) and the shameless stealing of characters and storylines from other anime. I assume they are not allowed to mention sex on anime, as the girls were acting (and looking) like porn stars while Yuuki was a total prude whose genitalia were (almost) never referred to and who looked like puberty had passed him by,

I see nothing in this show that is offensive or upsetting or creepy.
I'll watch the beach episode again to make sure.
the only oddish bit was Hotaru making loads of plushies of senpai but she did have a crush on her .
They only mentioned height in a couple of episodes. That was mainly how do I get tall.

Coppelion is an odd beast, I know it wasn't a very popular anime, not many people liked it, but for some reason I really got into it. I finally picked up the Blu-ray of the series right as it went OOP earlier this year. I had had it in my Saved for Later queue for about 8 years, waiting for it to go on sale, and it never did.

I can't remember why I dropped it in 200X but I enjoyed the first 2 episodes today.
I've got the DVD. Combination of price and existing in the UK. But I'm not bothered about that.
Would like to know if the animation style was picked for a reason.
And how the characters skirts billow like that without showing panties. 🤔

They must have been going commando under their skirts... maybe that's why I liked the series? 😜

16-Bit Sensation ep7

Bleh. Again, I feel like I keep wanting to rewrite this series myself - given that the show is presumably playing to people with nostalgia for classic visual novels, I’m not sure trying to fix everything with the ‘inherent superiority’ of something from the present day is the way to go. Should the gag not have been that Konoha shows them her art and they react like she’s playing punk rock at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance?

Unsurprisingly, this isn’t anything like as salacious as the title might lead you to believe - which is a shame as that might at least have lent it some kind of personality. Some cute reaction faces notwithstanding, this was the blandest slice of escapist fantasy I’ve seen in a long time.
 
Love, Chunibyo and other Delusions series 1, OVA & extra shorts: I'm enjoying this. Started out just thinking they were all crazy, but it turns out to be a defence against the real world. Well, they're too young to be drinking themselves silly every week (which is how most adults cope with reality - or obsessively watching anime, eh?). Enjoyed the beach episode with the girls wearing bikini's and NO-ONE commenting on their boobs or showing close ups. Is this a first for a teen anime series? Glad I picked them all up ridiculously cheap in the Rarewaves sale last week,
 
Finally watched the 4th Eva rebuild film after picking up the AL release. I'd heard it was a little bit of a dud and I guess I wasn't disappointed.

It has been a while since I watched 3, and I didn't care for that either, but things just seemed to happen, with little explination. Action was awful, lacking context, stakes and clear shots of what is happening. I guess I appreciate the weirldy super high quality disheveled Asuka on the beach, but I think it's clear not only from the Bye Bye Evangelion tag line, that Hideaki Anno was done with the series.

LOL, MAL being stubborn and not adding it to their DB despite their arguments being shot down by loads of other stuff already on it!
Anyway, episode 1 follows volume 1 apart from a few scenes and the ending! And then episode 2 takes such a radical departure that I'm not sure I want to continue!
 
Return of Daimajin (following on from Daimajin yesterday): Good stuff, as the stone god avenges the invaded nice people from the cartoon villains.

The Apple Dumpling Gang: Very Disney but it's got Don Knotts, Tim Conway and Bill Bixby.

Le Chevalier D'Eon episodes 7-12: the "Russian" episodes as our heroes attempt to foil a royal assassination. Five commentaries! To add to the four on disc one, this seems real overkill. Still, I will listen to a couple now.
