What are you watching right now

Not really "right now" but in the last week or so I've marathoned Twin Peaks (the David Lynch TV show, not the porno).

What an amazing series. The directing, the acting, the music, the locations, the plot, the characters - They were all fantastic, in every sense of the word. If you're ever stuck for anything to watch give it a shot. It's unlike anything I've ever seen. The only thing I can say is if you like this clip (it seems spoiler-y when taken out of context but isn't really) then you'll probably enjoy it :

<object width="320" height="265"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vrb51EGXGqs&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vrb51EGXGqs&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="320" height="265"></embed></object>

I cannot find a single flaw with it other than the utterly pointless 99.9% prequel 0.1% sequel Fire Walk With Me film which, I can tell you right now fails to provide any kind of closure, so don't bother with it. It's like savouring a delicious slice of cherry pie then attempting to eat the plate.

The News. Any actual content seem to have been replaced with SWINE FLU DEATH WATCH

::yawn::

Wake me when it mutates into Flying Pig Flu.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles finale. I really hope FOX sells it to The CW [Assuming they'd buy] or keeps it on, because it'd be cheaper than financing a new show. I will certainly miss the show, with all its flaws and problems - I enjoyed the majority of episodes... The ending was fantastic, resolved but opened a new world at the same time.

Not watching it yet, but I thought I'll post to say that Summer Glau is a special guest star on tonight's The Big Bang Theory on E4 at 9:30PM.

Fantastic show, and a fantastic actress (she plays herself, btw).

I finally broke into my Stargate season 2 boxset the other day so I have been watching a ton of Stargate the part couple of days.
I only started watching Stargate a year or two ago on Sky One from somewhere around series 5, so I still hadn't watched any of the early episodes until recently.
I expect once I'm through with this series I'm going to be very tempted to getting the 3rd boxset.

Just watched the last episode of Heroes volume four - I was disappointed by this series to tell the truth - and they ripped off Marvel comics once again - what they did to Sylar was basically the same as was done to Proteus when he took over Morph's body in Exiles. Just because not many people read Exiles doesn't make it okay to steal from it!

I am getting more disappointed with Heroes the more I watch of it!
I really enjoyed the first two series of it, but the last two seasons have just been getting worse and worse.
Nothing orginal or exciting happens anymore. I grew tired of Sylar (who they seem to love so much) ages ago, and all the characters seem to have the same personalities - surly, sulky and self-obsessed, and they bump off any new character of interest.
The writers need to stop trying to be so enlightened, and stop writing about the damn Petrelli's!

Life on mars series 2

Watching the casino episode now. Never realized they were legal here (looked up on wiki and found out about all the super casino story and etc).

Having only watched a few episodes on tv ,I decided to buy the first two seasons of Smallville on dvd. Will most likely be getting the rest of the series, although from what I know the show is in it's eight and final season so a few more boxsets to get.

Nah mate. It's been renewed for its ninth.

Here's a heads-up... I got a bit bored with the first three seasons, especially the third but enjoyed the fourth immensely due to an inclusion of a certain character and I'm now in the fifth and its very good. It took a while for the series to make actual progress, but its happening... so don't shy away because of some bad episodes, there are some superb ones in the bunch as well.

Watching the 4th episode of second celebrity US apprentice series. I'm mainly watching it for the amazing Joan Rivers, but the other celebs are pretty interesting too :]
